CESAB invites all interested parties to join us for the public presentation of its most recent publication. Volume 6 of our Usque Collection consists of an edition of the work by Carolus Clusius (1525–1609), entitled Alguns comentários à “Descrição das Especiarias” de Garcia de Orta. Edited by Rui Manuel Loureiro, with a translation of the Latin text by António Guimarães Pinto and contributions by Teresa Nobre de Carvalho, István Rácóczi, and Rui Manuel Loureiro himself, this edition will be presented by Marília dos Santos Lopes (Universidade Católica Portuguesa) on May 6 at 5:00 p.m., in room B112.D of the Library building, at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon.
