Carla Vieira, researcher at CESAB and CHAM – NOVA FCSH, is currently a visiting scholar at the Herbert D. Katz Center for Advanced Judaic Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
She is part of the 2024 Fellowship programme on “Jews and Health”, in which she is researching David Nassy (1747-1806) as a member of the American Philosophical Society and a practitioner during the 1793 outbreak of yellow fever in Philadelphia.
