Founded in 1996, <strong>CESAB<\/strong> has consistently maintained a dynamic level of activity, particularly in organizing scientific meetings and publishing its work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this week\u2019s sessions, CESAB researchers will give public presentations of their ongoing projects. There will also be a <em>Hebrew calligraphy workshop<\/em>, as well as the launch of the most recent publication in our <em>Usque Collection<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The publication is titled <em>Some Comments on the \u201cDescription of Spices\u201d by Garcia de Orta<\/em>, by <strong>Carolus Clusius<\/strong>, a volume edited by <strong>Rui Manuel Loureiro<\/strong>, with translation of the Latin text by <strong>Ant\u00f3nio Guimar\u00e3es Pinto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All the information is available on our website.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week marks the beginning of the Commemorative Cycle celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Alberto Benveniste Chair of Sephardic Studies.
